With nine stories—five of which have never before been published—and an exclusive never-before-seen excerpt from Marissa Meyer’s upcoming novel, Heartless, about the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Stars Above is essential for fans of the bestselling and beloved Lunar Chronicles.

Okay so this is not really a story on its own but a post Lunar Chronicles bind up of novellas about our beloved characters. Frankly I thought this was supposed to be stories of what happened AFTER Lunar Chronicles but besides that one story this is BEFORE Lunar Chronicles. Not that it is terrible, but I just really wanted to know more about the future.

So as I already mentioned most of the stories are BEFORE Lunar Chronicles. I will not be talking about each story individually but rather sum up them all as whole.

THE WORLD: Okay so yes one hings for sure we are back to Lunar world. My heart is jumping here. I did not know I missed it this much! But it turns out I did, frankly it even made me really want to reread Cinder. And I love Luna planet or aka the moon. I mean things on Earth are pretty cool too but Luna is just breathtaking for me.

CHARACTERS: Soooo each of our beloved characters gets their own story in this book. I must say some were more interesting than other but overall there wasn't anything that I seriously disliked. Except for that one story that I still not sure who it was about. I mean it was about android an escort to be exact but who exactly it was...I mean was it the girl that later one of them take as a body? I was seriously confused about this part. If any of you read this book can you please explain to me this weird thing? Cuz that girl went to earth and she met Cinder so Cinder should recognize the body later no? Weeeeeeird. Anyways as I said besides this confusion all stories were nicely written but frankly not very unique. Not that they were boring just that we have heard one of other part of them before. The only one that almost made me cry was the last one which was the only one of the AFTER story and they all were together and just...jup I really want to reread Cinder. Or whole Lunar Chronicles. Beautiful characters.

LOVE: So if you have read Lunar Chronicles you know the couples. If not then omg why are you spoiling yourself reading this review?

PLUS: It is really nice to be back in familiar world. We really forget how some of them can affect us. It is like going back home.

MINUS: Again I thought this was a bind up of AFTER and not BEFORE. But that is my mistake, I guess it just made me see these stories slightly different.

OVERALL: It is really nice to go back to this world and it is of course what makes me give this book five stars but it is also not a must read. I mean these stories, to some part we already heard them before so they were not THAT new. But yeah, if you are a fan of Lunar Chronicles like I am you will enjoy these little writing of Marissa Meyer.
